Despite the realization that they had no funding for the project, the Roanoke Police Department challenged Access to help them update the city’s tired anti-crime campaign. Access was inspired to help and teamed with local vendors to create an award-winning campaign on a shoestring budget.
Access teamed with the Roanoke City Police Department to produce a multimedia campaign aimed at reducing theft by educating citizens about the proactive role they can take in reducing crime.
The campaign marked the department’s first foray on Twitter and Facebook. This proved so effective the department has since expanded its use of the social media platform we created to become a major part of community relations and crime prevention outreach.
