HCA is the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services and is comprised of locally-managed facilities that include about 165 hospitals and 115 freestanding surgery centers in 20 states and England and employs approximately 204,000 people. 

Challenge

LewisGale Regional Health System — which includes four hospitals, two cancer centers, six outpatient centers and 700 affiliated physicians — is part of the Capital Division of HCA that includes nearly 40 facilities in Virginia, New Hampshire, Kentucky and Indiana. Access provided ongoing support for HCA’s creative services department with advertising campaigns, TV and radio spots, and identity and branding needs.

Results

In an industry known for disposable relationships, perhaps the best testimony to Access’ proof of performance was our longevity with LewisGale which featured a partnership that lasted nearly 20 years. However, being a good partner means proving yourself with every project. The last branding effort for LewisGale resulted in a 23% increase in advertising recall even though advertising spending stayed the same.
