When Virginia Tech hired Access and set its sights on a $1 billion goal for their 2007 capital campaign, none of us could have imagined what the future would bring. That same year the nation’s worst mass shooting to date shifted everyone’s focus to more important matters. VT weathered the storm and refused to be denied.
