Winner of the 2007 PRNews Agency Executive of the Year, Terri Jones, APR, brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate and agency public relations to her role as senior vice president of AccessPR. She has worked with national corporations including Purdue Pharma LP (OxyContin issue – PR counsel for Virginia and Tennessee), DynCorp, HCA Healthcare and others. Her portfolio includes story placement with USA Today, “Good Morning America,” “Today Show,” The Washington Post and National Public Radio.
Terri holds a B.S. in Radio-TV production from the University of Illinois and completed her master’s work in communication statistics and research at Ohio University. She is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America chapter in western Virginia and is bi-lingual (English-Spanish). Terri also won the Advertising Federation of the Roanoke Valley’s 2007 Advertising Person of the Year and received that organization’s Silver Medal lifetime achievement award in 2009.
