Laura Wood
Senior Account Manager / Associate
With a background in business management and education, Laura Wood joined Access in a clerical capacity in 1997 and evolved into one of the company’s most valuable assets as senior account supervisor.
Raised in Franklin County, she worked as an administrative assistant in the Roanoke Valley before moving with her husband Ron, who was serving in the Navy, to San Diego and then Hawaii. After the service commitment was complete, Laura and Ron, along with new baby Miranda returned to the Roanoke Valley. She began working part time with Access while expecting her second son Adam.
Laura has moved from bookkeeper/office manager into account service and then into account management. She now works with the creative team and several account executives to maintain relationships with many local, regional and national accounts.
She holds board positions for with Hidden Valley High School PTSO and Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is also team mom for Badgers Travel Baseball team, Concession committee co-chair for Hidden Valley HS Ladies Soccer. She is an avid runner.
