Gary Gilmore
Creative Director / Associate
Gary oversees the creative development of all interactive work. His unique ability to flow easily between the worlds of print design and web design as well as exhibit work has won him numerous awards including both local and district ADDYs.
After attending The Art Institute of Philadelphia and Virginia Western Community College, he started his career working with the Agricultural Department of Virginia Tech creating dynamic web sites. He moved into the agency arena working for local firms before joining Access. Gary has also served as an adjunct faculty member of Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke teaching web design along with various print classes.
Gary has been selected Advertising Person of the Year by his peers in The Advertising Federation of the Roanoke Valley, served as President of that organization, as well as many other roles. His service for AAF continued as District 3 ADDY Chair, National ADDY Committee Representative, and District Governor. He has also served on the national board for Ad2, another organization associated with AAF. Gary currently serves on the board of the Jefferson Center.
